Sight fish the beaches and nearshore waters of Florida’s Treasure Coast.
7 Hours on the Water
Private Nearshore Charter
The Full Day Nearshore Charter offers an exciting opportunity to fish just off the beaches of Martin and St. Lucie County when ocean conditions allow.
These trips are most productive from May through September when the ocean typically lays down and sight fishing opportunities increase.
Nearshore trips allow you to cover productive beach stretches and nearshore structure without committing to offshore runs.
Conditions play a larger role in nearshore fishing, and Captain Max will always prioritize safety and realistic expectations.
If you are targeting a specific species, let Captain Max know at the time of booking so he can prepare accordingly.
This is a private charter — only your group will be on the boat.
While not offshore fishing, nearshore trips can offer exciting big-fish opportunities close to land.
Nearshore trips are available most of the year, but are typically most productive from May through September when ocean conditions are calmer.
Safety and sea conditions always come first. If conditions are not favorable, Captain Max may adjust the game plan accordingly.
If targeting a specific species that requires specialty live bait, additional bait charges may apply.
When live bait isn’t available, artificial lures will be used.
Please Note:
If you have a favorite fishing rod you’d like to bring, you are welcome to do so (please notify Captain Max beforehand).
The Young 20 has storage to help keep personal items dry during unexpected rain, but rain gear is not provided.
For groups larger than 4 anglers, indicate your group size when booking or contact Captain Max directly. He can coordinate multi-boat packages with trusted local captains.
Cancellations made 15 days or more before your trip may be reimbursed or rescheduled.
Cancellations within 14 days of the charter will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Weather-related cancellations are at the captain’s discretion.
If the captain determines conditions are safe and fishable but the client cancels, the deposit will be forfeited.
In cases of unsafe weather or unforeseen emergencies, the deposit will be retained and applied toward a rescheduled trip whenever possible.
Nearshore opportunities are highly dependent on conditions and fill quickly during peak months. Secure your date early.
