Dock light fishing has to be experienced to truly understand how exciting it can be.
Underwater dock lights attract baitfish — and predator fish follow. You may witness fish aggressively striking live bait, lures, or flies in illuminated water.
Night trips offer cooler temperatures and a welcome break from Florida’s daytime heat.
If you are targeting a specific species, let Captain Max know at the time of booking so he can prepare accordingly.
This is a private charter — only your group will be on the boat.
The visual aspect alone makes this trip unforgettable.
Dock light fishing relies on active feeding windows and bait presence.
Captain Max monitors conditions and adjusts locations throughout the trip to give you the best opportunity possible.
Conservation matters. Captain Max practices CPR (Catch, Picture, Release). If you would like to keep fish within legal limits, simply let him know.
If targeting a specific species that requires specialty live bait, additional bait charges may apply.
When live bait isn’t available, artificial lures will be used.
Please Note:
If you have a favorite fishing rod you’d like to bring, you are welcome to do so (please notify Captain Max beforehand).
The Young 20 has storage to help keep personal items dry during unexpected rain, but rain gear is not provided.
For groups larger than 4 anglers, indicate your group size when booking or contact Captain Max directly. He can coordinate multi-boat packages with trusted local captains.
Cancellations made 15 days or more before your trip may be reimbursed or rescheduled.
Cancellations within 14 days of the charter will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Weather-related cancellations are at the captain’s discretion.
If the captain determines conditions are safe and fishable but the client cancels, the deposit will be forfeited.
In cases of unsafe weather or unforeseen emergencies, the deposit will be retained and applied toward a rescheduled trip whenever possible.
